both have classes filled for the rest of the year.

guarantee you slots will open up in some of those classes because of guys being picked up by majors, repeat, put your name in the hat and let the airline decide

ETA: here's my story with my outfit, had guys on furlough, no hiring for years, was flying with guys on furlough that said don't waste a stamp because you won't get an interview before everyone is recalled, came in from flying one day having a beer at a friends house, he gets a call from a guy from same airline, "we're going to start interviewing next week, FedEx me your shite," I'm like, what about me? frick that, I took a jet to the airline HQ on a Sunday before first day of interviews and went to HQ looking for pilot recruitment, there's a secretary in her office working, she looks up and asks if she could help me, I give her my paperwork, she takes one look and says to be back at 8am the next day, was hired before all furloughees were retrained, hired at the beginning of a 10,000 pilot hire at the comp[any, Captain 3.5 years later and have never looked back

That’s not accurate at all anymore. Finally got sold by SkyWest and start flying 175s for United in April. Hiring is ramping up and they’re throwing major incentives to pick up on days off. No chance a reserve is getting unused these days. Likely flying min guarantee at worst every month.
You talking about ExpressJet?

it's hard to light a fire under an arse that doesn't want to be lit, don't know how many conversations I've had with guys over the years about how to get on with the majors, all the while I'm with a major, and have heard things like "I need to do this before I apply," or I've heard this....," I just gave up trying to convince people to apply and let the airline decide for themselves because no one seems to listen, don't mind sharing a little info on here but it seems to be met with similar responses
Guilty as charged.

My dream job would be the FexEx or UPS 757's here in LFT. 7 & 7 and home every day.

That is in reference to express jet, yes. Agree with 777 about just applying. I’ve had my apps in since I had ~600TT. I did let them lapse once for a few months. I’d also recommend looking into Emerald Coast, Ready set Take off, checked and set, etc... I’ve literally never heard anyone express regret at having used any interview prep.

I put in an app with both. Received a TBNT email from Republic and haven't heard back from Endeavor.

everything, EVERYTHING at the airlines is done on a seniority basis, taking a shite, pick of crew meals, trips, vacation, you name it, that's why it's so important, if you want the gig, to get off your arse and make it happen.... NOW!!!!

Oh yeah, I understand that. But the LFT gig can't be that senior of a route. Guess it depends on how many locals fly for them.

you think that their trip is only LFT-MEM-LFT or LFT-SDF-LFT everyday?

I don't know, that's what I assumed.

That's what we did on the 727 for the Postal Service. SAT-DFW-IND-DFW-SAT at night, and SAT-DFW-DEN-DFW-SAT during the day.

Nice! I got hired there at one point and declined because they didn’t have an Atlanta base and ExpressJet did. I fricked that up. Seems like a good company and has a guaranteed interview at DAL after x amount of time. They just want you to go rent something and get a BFR?

I think so.

"We reviewed your application, however we see that you do not have recent flying. Please re-contact us when you meet these requirements and have obtained recent proficient flying.

If you have any questions about Endeavor Air or our recruitment process, you can reach the Pilot Selection Team at this email address. We are in the office M-F 8am to 4pm (Central Standard Time). In your message, please include your full name and your preferred contact phone number.

We look forward to reviewing your application in the future!"

LFT pairings don’t have LFT layovers everyday.

My 2 cents, take the first job a major offers and if you have a choice between 2 or more, pick what city you would want to live in and move. Commuting sucks
