I’m having the same problem. Doctor told me I have a salivatory gland infection.

Back in 2011, I had the same swelling in the exact same area. It was there for several weeks before I went to an ENT. It did not hurt at all. No pain when I touched it or felt around it. After they excised it an did the biopsy, it was confirmed as diffuse large B cell lymphoma. It sounds more like you are fighting off an infection more than lymphoma. You probably wouldn’t feel pain if it was lymphoma.

Sounds like an ear infection unless you get big red bumps then it’s shingles.

Cancer isn’t usually painful. If the node moves a lot and hurts it’s probably an acute infection

I don't know, man. He did a recipe on the FDB and had this long rambling backstory about aunts and rice and rotisserie chickens and Ms. Patty and ferries and Mississippi estates. It took up the entire post and included pictures. Then in the last paragraph of the post, he said he didn't like most recipes on sites because they bore you with stupid personal stories. Then he ran out of room on the first post because of the long rambling backstory and posted the actual recipe in TWO completely separate posts because he was so long winded.
It may be the funniest and most brilliant thing I've seen him do. Or maybe he's just autistic.

I told my oncologist at Winship you were the reason I wanted an MRI on my back. Of course it got postponed. My blood and physical exam were all peachy and I'm pretty sure my back pain is a symptom of tight hams/quads and possibly piriformis. But your story really prompted me to go in for special checkup.
