Isn’t that against labor laws or something?

Depends on ages of kids, if the youngest is in first grade then absolutely yes. BUT if I’d have to stay at home and watch more than one toddler/baby...then frick THAT!

I could do all of the housework (i.e. cooking, cleaning, etc.) without a second thought....that shite wouldn't take 4 hours per week total...

I read this and thought WTF am I doing wrong Saturday morning. Then I read this

now, dealing with a whole herd of kids might be a different story...

And I was like, that makes since, you don't have tornados of destruction running around your house every day. Kids are the game changer when it comes to cleaning house.

No, I don’t have the patience my wife has with our two, I’d go crazy.

I'd be self respecting the hell out of myself while in my boat fishing.

I used to think that I could. I was side lined with injury for a week and the things I saw my wife do made me realized I’m not built for it.

Could you imagine having to take a grumper in Target while trying to control a 3 and 2 year old?

Part of me says absolutely. But then again if she ever brought it up or pulled the "well its MY money" or the "Since i make the money i get to pick which house, car ect" I'd be pretty pissed.

We moved to KC about a year and a half ago due to a promotion for my wife. I was in baking for over 15 years, but now I'm a stay at home dad. Kinda took some adjustment. My little girl is four and goes to a private school, but is off for holidays, summer, etc. We don't have any family up here so it would be challenging if we both worked. If it works for your family I highly suggest it. It's great being there for my little girl and wife, but also gives me time to do photography on the side.

I said I would, but I have not yet. Wife is President of her company and yet I still go to work.

I came to the conclusion I would secure early retirement for both of us, rather than sitting on my arse like a millennial.

Your wife won't truly respect you though. It's just not the role men were born to fill.
A man with no drive or passions, other than leisure.

A man doesn't have to be a cubicle jockey to have "drive."
