Almost all your statments are based on TV drama. The suggestion that one is able to lie about his crime in a place where inmates can access the internet and have subscriptions to newspapers and television in every day room (and as others point out, contraband smartphones are everywhere) may be the most glaring inaccuracy. A Christian code superseding the law in a place where 4000 people are serving life for murders and rapes? Angola has a ton of agg. rapists of children who go to work all over the prison every day. One was the editor of the Angolite a few years back. There was extensive research on this subject prior to passage of the Prison Rape Elimination Act.
The vast majority of prison hits are for prison acts or for personal/gang conflict which carried over from the street. "Don't steal anyone's commissary/property, don't do or say anything that will get me locked down, and mind your own business / respect others' space" is the most overarching code there. They're trying to get by, not to right the wrongs in the world.

I have been in 25+ prisons nationwide as part of an audit team, including ADX Florence. Certified as a testifying expert in corrections in MDLA, EDLA, EDTX, and 4-5 parishes here.

Are you asking if you can get in trouble for sending info on someone to some hardened criminals with a hint that they might want to think about killing the guy?

Yeah, I don't get how people seem happy about horrible things that happen in prison. People shouldn't be beaten, killed or raped when they are in the care of the state. Letting it happen is akin to sanctioning it. If I got raped in prison, I'd want everybody prosecuted for the crime.. The inmate, the guards, the warden, attorney, judges, everybody. Its just not right for that to happen, ever. If it can't be controlled then the whole concept of prison needs to be re-done..

ETA: the inmates watch the news so they can see the arrist, they'll already know. Also retaliation doesn't happen much because this guy will be locked up with other people just like him. He'll be isolated from the people that would kill/beat him.

Most of these dudes going to prison are already in the criminal world. The prison world already knows who they are when they get there and what they did. Probably knows alot of crap that was not in court.

Its stupid to think a prosecutor with his “data” is completely naive to what goes on in these maximum security penitentiary’s? Mediums and lows maybe not as much but dudes get stabbed everyday in prisons & jails across the country and there’s plenty to prove him otherwise. You go do some time in county jails in Atlanta,Los Angeles,Chicago,& NY and see for yourself. Hell go to EBR Parish Prison and see what goes on. A guy not too long ago got beat to death in the fricking Tangipahoa Parish jail just for picking the wrong bunk to sleep in in the dorm.

Your issue is that you're an inmate, thinking at the simplest level. You assume that data is gathered purely from incident reports, and that hospital route logs, notes gathered during med-pass, and the vast network of snitches you don't know about don't even exist.
The mistaken belief that you get it is exactly why you were an inmate.
But maybe you're right, and the 1500+ child predators in Louisiana prisons are disappearing at an alarming rate and we just don't know.

I acknowledge it's simply an opinion. It's just an opinion courts have decided may assist the trier of facts in cases.
Eta: the moral of this story is that if you know someone victimized by a a disgusting predator and are assuming they'll get some additional amount of punishment based upon his crime, well... You'd better hope he's an a-hole in prison.

I cba to research the issue as it pertains to Minnesota, but assuming that you’re in Louisiana, that would make you a principal to second degree murder.
