For the record, I only prefer the 900 because I can have a window seat and an isle seat at the same time.

I thought you had to buy two seats on every plane?

FWIW, I read this entire thread in Quagmire's Pilot voice.

I don't fly often but I hate the MD series due to the cabin pressure change when they pull power for descent. Ears be hurting every time. Gum chewing, yawning, nothing helps.

Off the topic but our gym is on the roof of our apartment and it overseas the airport here. I was on the treadmill and got to watch one of these monsters land. It was impressive to watch it taxi by the passenger jets.

I thought the Boeing 717 was an old MD design. It looks really cool. It wins on aesthetics.....but it's cabin is also more comfortable IMO.

I was on a CRJ that caught on fire in Baton Rouge about 8 years ago. I've hated those jets since then, but they are hard to avoid if you travel a lot.

You always feel like such a bitch pulling up in ATL in your little CRJ coke can out of BTR with 767s and the like passing by.

I don't think Delta exclusively uses CRJ's in BTR anymore. I've been on a lot of 717s out of there (which are one of my favorite looking planes) and at least one A319.

Where are you seeing 767's at a domestic gate in ATL? Must be one of the west coast routes. I'd love a big plane like that on a domestic route.

Yeah they run mainline service with 717s mostly. They used A319 and MD88s too. It's usually only one flight per day.

There's a flight from ATL to Orlando on a 767.

Best regional jet is the EMB 170/175 series though.

I'll fly it over a 747 if I can

The 767s they use for domestic routes suck. But you'll see them on the LAX, SFO, SLC, and SEA routes. And then filled in to other destinations when loads are higher.
