Will need more info....Ultrasound? Cat Scan?, Fever?, Vomiting? Change in Color of Stool? Still have her Gallbladder? Wt. Loss?

Does she take a lot of NSAIDs? Ibuprofen, Aleve, Aspirin, etc? Does she have jaundice?
If she's 65+ and can't afford healthcare, she should have access to Medicare. If she's in the lower income brackets then Medicaid.
Sounds like possibly gallstones, but it could be viral hepatitis, fatty liver, or even just gas.

Sounds like gallbladder, could be a blocked duct issue.
Hopefully you can get some scans done. Family member of mine just had hers removed.
Any back pain or nausea? Weight loss?

Sounds like it could be a blocked bile duct, what was the lipase levels? Sounds like she needs an ultra sound and possibly CT scan.

Too vague, considering age and symptoms I would be more inclined to think cholelithiasis/ biliary obstruction. Low WBC may or may not be related.
Would not read into any diagnosis given here though..
