Years of martial arts have given him the tools to defend himself and I have given him the green light. If he ever feels like there's no other option, he will not be in trouble at home. That being said, if he starts a fight, that's his arse.

I told my 6 year old daughter, if a boy messes with you and you dont like it, kick him in the balls.

same here, never went down that road with them but taught them to be decent people, they've issued a few arse whoopins before but mainly in defense of other kids that were outnumbered/outsized, all of these morons on here that talk about fighting, picking fights, loving to fight, etc., are just an indication of the lower end of the evolution IQ to me

I wrestle around with mine almost nightly. I think it is a good idea to teach them leverage, and how to keep out of bad positions. I let em throw punches at my arms. I figure if they get in a real fight instinct can take over from there

I've never been in that situation, but I wouldn't fight just because someone pushes me. If someone swings at me that's different and you do whatever is needed to protect yourself. Some of y'all are too damn quick to throw punches. I guessed I am the way I am because I had a football teammate in high school get shot dead behind a simple fight. So fighting isn't worth losing my life over. Kids don't fight anymore and just let things go especially if they get embarrassed with an arse whipping. I know of quite of few situations were a simple fight escalated to gun violence.
