re: OT Dads: do you teach your sons how to fight?

I learned how to keep my guard up from my dad...he knocked me out while "slap" boxing at 10.

I've taught(or will teach when the time is right) my sons, and my daughters, how to defend and how to throw a punch. I've also taught them, in real life there's no referee to break it up...grab, twist, squish, poke, prod or whatever you have to do to get out.

I took a chip out of my elbow way back when. Had a cast on my hand and was getting to it in Fred's parking lot. Missed with my elbow and it went straight into the concrete
