OT Bikers/Mud-Checkers Anonymous: What's the Verdict on Full-Face Helmets?

I'm weaving in and out of Houston traffic, when I catch a glimpse of a motorcycle thug out of my left peripherals.
He gets right up to my left window and starts revving his Harley and shouting something at me, before trying to kick my car. He swerved at the last minute and couldn't make contact.
When he speeds away I notice he is an esteemed member of the Bandidos MC (1%).
I guess I accidentally cut him off/almost killed him.
It's hard to take these guys seriously with a full-face helmet. What's he verdict from the initiated on full-faces?
Was this guy still a pledge, or just an all-out poser?

Worked with a guy that rode his bike from Phoenix to Myrtle Beach. He said he thought full face helmets were for pussies, but by the time he got to Kansas, he would've given his left nut for one

I have always wanted a motorcycle since I was a child. I watched "The Great Escape" and was hooked. Unfortunately it is one of the most douche bag hobbies to have (full faced helmet or not). Either its crotch rocket tools or middle aged white dudes that want to feel like they are part of something. The stupid arse biker wave is just as bad as the jeep wave. Thanks for ruining it for me.
