I have a fairly large-sized yard (both front and back). Probably 6000 sq ft total if I'm guessing. Maybe more. Trying to get a feel for what I should expect before I start pricing.

Yea it's pretty weird and lazy that a lot of people in Baton Rouge don't cut their own yards. The yards here aren't even buy unless ur off of highland or maybe out in ascension in places. But for the most part their are people making 40k a year and pay someone else to cut their grass. Wtf. I make a very comfortable amount of money and will only move up in my firm. I will cut my grass until I'm unable Its enjoyable. Get a good sweat going get in the sun listen to some music. Stop being pussies BR

Love how you see yourself as a tough guy because you mow your own lawn. Whatever it takes I guess.

Around Austin it's $55 for 8k sqft from a licensed, BBB accredited company. For Mexicans $35.

That's a cut, edge, and blow.

The Mexicans are better because they work off referrals.

35 per cut. Some do it cheaper in the area, thinking of switching. Can easily get it to 30, maybe even 25.

In Houston/Katy our yard was 11,000 sq ft and they cut it for $30. Now we are on about .75 an acre and the guys here are charging $45

Green Doctor takes care of the fertilizing, weeding, and such. It's like $60 or so every 6 weeks. As for cutting, that's what my 14 yr old son is for.

I'd rather not spend half my saturday cutting, edging, weedeating and cleaning up my yard. Paying a little each week is well worth it.

If you have ever gone through a car wash instead of washing your car yourself or if you've picked up fast food instead of cooking for yourself, then you are a hypocryte and not nearly as tough as you think you are.

$40 per cut and he also keeps up flower beds. Once a year it's about $300 for them to mulch and cut back all the flower beds. Cutting the grass isn't a huge deal and I'm sure I can handle that, but the flower beds are worth it. Out house always looks maintained and I don't even have to think about it.
