Square feet? Do you not acre baws?
Posted on 4/17/16 at 12:40 pm to StringedInstruments
$65 cut and edge only, probably about 1/2 acre of grass area

Used to pay 45 a week. No bed work
Started doing it again myself this year, it sucks but started a business and needed to cut back household expenses

Cutting the grass isn't a huge deal and I'm sure I can handle that, but the flower beds are worth it
This X 1,000. It isn't pushing the mower, Ballers have a ZTR after all, but NO WAY I am getting on my knees and weeding the beds all over my .57 acres. I have extensive landscaping and, even if I had the time, there aint no way.
I may be biased though, I started a lawn service when I was 13 in Mandeville and built it up until I moved away to college. Swore I would never cut a yard again. So the couple of times a year I cut it myself is more than enough.

This... If you want to ever move up in status then you can't be seen cutting your own yard or messing in the dirt. Let your wife play in the her garden for beautification purposes of the overall neighborhood. These are the rules to climbing to the social ladder.

Not joking. I feed his crew and he cuts my lawn.

I normally cut my own because I enjoy it even in the Texas summer. But I ocasionally get too busy and have a guy that does it for 30 bucks.
Posted on 4/17/16 at 4:14 pm to bushwacker
Rate just went up to $40 for us. When I used to do it myself, it would take me about 2 1/2 hrs. The lawn service does it in 20 min. I say, let someone else buy, maintain, service and store that 7k dollar mower.

I pay my son by feeding him and letting him live under my roof.
So too much.
So too much.
