Seems like she's lived he whole life in a bubble of privilege anyways. You have to expect her to keep those nasty, unwashed flyover state people at a distance on social media too. Certainly easier than trying to engage with them and understand them.

She's the quintessential privileged liberal white girl cry-bully victim-hero. She's allowed to act like the scum of the earth and no one is allowed to criticize her for it. If they do then "they're putting her safety at risk".
In the end, she's just a hollow, barren, childless, bitter old woman and she knows it. This is what she has to do in order to feel like she's still young and relevant. I'd imagine the few friends she has, if any, really feel bad for her.
