This guy needs to give up and fade away into society, if you have this tag why keep putting yourself in the spotlight.

NEW YORK -- Oregon State pitcher Luke Heimlich, who as a teenager pleaded guilty to molesting a 6-year-old relative, was not selected in the Major League Baseball draft for the second straight year.

Heimlich is a two-time Pac-12 pitcher of the year for the Beavers and is regarded as one of college baseball's top players, but his troubled past has given big league teams pause.

The 22-year-old left-hander was expected to be drafted early last year until The Oregonian reported Heimlich admitted to the crime when he was 15. After pleading guilty, Heimlich was sentenced to two years' probation, among other requirements.

Yikes. This is way more embarrassing than popping a boner in the shower after practice.

I thought I was going crazy.

I tried to post “Diddling kids has consequences. He’s lucky he’s not in fricking prison.” My iPad froze and then that frickery happened.

What he did (which he now says he doesn't but he was coerced by his lawyer to take a place) was definitely wrong, but he was also a kid. All these NFL guys are "protesting" because 15 year old black kids are going to jail for killing people, yet this is fine. I'm torn on this, I don't think a person's life should be ruined because of something they did as a young teen, but what he allegedly did is pretty bad.

Eta: per usual, most of you haven't actually read the details of the case, just react to headlines.

15 year olds are in high school. They know damn well that touching a 4 year old is wrong.

Did he get in any trouble for raping LSU?

Japan may not take him.

There was at least one player frozen out of their draft a few years ago because he took part in a gay porno, which is why he ended up in MLB.

If they have that kind of reaction to consensual gay sex, I don’t think they will take kindly to kiddy diddlers.

He’d be much better off as an open cock sucker than a child molester. Society doesn’t take kind to people that harm children, no matter the circumstances.

Maybe he was just trying to show the kid the Heimlich maneuver. You know, for safety reasons.

Her didn't "allegedly" do anything. He admitted to molesting his 4 year old relative. He signed a plea acknowledging this. Let me ask you this - would you sign a sheet of paper saying you molested a kindergartener if you didn't do it?

At 15 if adults were telling me to, probably yes.

I'm not saying he didn't do it, but it's not cut and dry. I've read some about it and there's what seems to be family drama above the kids head involved and the lawyer telling him and his parents to take the plea instead of going to trial whether he did it or not.

Like I said, I'm torn on it. If he did it the frick him, but I'm not 100% sure he did and if he didn't it's pretty fricked up that his life is ruined because of something he didn't do at 15.
