OPSO: Downsville woman tried to run over husband

A September assault concluded Monday with the arrest of a Downsville woman on multiple charges.
According to an arrest warrant filed with the 4th Judicial District Court on Sept. 19, officers responded to a domestic disturbance at Plunk's Self Storage on Washington Street on Sept. 9.
The victim allegedly ran a window tinting business out of one of the storage units and said his wife, Loretta Castillo, age 44, Aleeah Lake Loop, started a fight with him at the location.
The victim said he was helping his ex-girlfriend with a situation, and Castillo became enraged, grabbed him by the shirt and attempted to strangle him.
He also said the suspect attempted to run over him with her SUV about five times before attempting to ram his Corvette, which was parked at the rear of the business.
According to the warrant, the victim was still visibly shaken after officers arrived on the scene. The complaint was called into the OPSO by the victim's ex-girlfriend.

Pretty open and shut case. She couldn't see the husband because of his awful window tinting.

She said she witnessed the entire fight and saw Castillo grab the victim and try to hit him with the car.
