Just checked. Mine is still provided by my employer at no cost to me, with the exception of a couple bucks for vision and dental.

You got damn right!
Pre Obama I had a solid plan with low deductibles and office visits for $180 per month for a single white male. Now Im paying over $650 a month because this POS big eared asshat railroaded this TAX to buy more votes for his party. NOT for the betterment of this country.

It's going to continue to get worse until Obamacare is repealed and replaced, which seems to not be happening. Haven't had our meeting yet, but I'm expected a big increase in my portion of our costs.
No, it's going to continue as long as people who "don't need insurance" get it. The boomers are getting old and have more health problems. Without the healthy people paying into the pool rates go up. IMO a simple solution is in addition to the penalties for not having insurance, a tax credit based on insurance usage: If you use it you don't get anything back, but if you don't you get a credit for unused premiums.

Our company just announced sign up dates, at the end of the month, but didn't bother telling us the new rates.
Gonna be worse next year, for sure

not at all. I'm enjoying all the extra cash. Being young and healthy is awesome.
I'm young and healthy. I have insurance because I have assets to lose. Look both ways before crossing the street...

Deductible for my company now
Posted on 11/2/17 at 4:49 pm to GetCocky11
Checking in to say my rate for a family of 4 is increasing 46% to $1105 a month. This is for $3.5k person/$10.5k family deductible. No health issues,so they are only paying out if something major happens.

I’m at $608 a month. It has gone up every year.
