Actually this would hurt more whites in long run from a practical perspective. The poor will keep procreating regardless, many dont care. Meanwhile the average of working adults starting a family keeps being pushed back (I think its 27 for men and 26 for women ?)
That's sustainable for now, but as we keep going forward that initial age will increase not decrease.

Nope. What I believe is that combating inflation is a battle that should be won before we make it worse by arbitrarily increasing the cost of unskilled labor, which will increase the cost of finished goods and services of all types, which in turn will decrease the purchasing power of $1.
Fix inflation, then we can talk about what minimum wage actually is. Raising minimum wage without fixing inflation is like thinking Tylenol will cure your infection.

Major corporations will purposely keep the rate as low as possible to maximize profits. It has nothing to do with the economy or cost of goods or anything other than we make more money if we pay them less.
There is a reason we have a minimum wage and it's because working conditions and compensation were terrible until private unions organized then the government jumped in and said we should do something about this.
The only reason it hasn't risen with inflation since then is lobbyists filling the pockets of politicians setting the narrative. But I see you bought in to that narrative more power to you bud but you are wrong.

I really don't like this train of thought. It gives corporations the cover to just automatically raise prices on consumers when a wage increase is implemented, without taking into account executive pay. One benefit of higher income taxes on the wealthy in the 50's and 60's is it kept executive pay in check. Workers were mostly able to survive on minimum wage, corporations made money to expand, and executives were handsomely paid for reaching that level. There was a form of a social contract back then, and that contract allowed a young male to find reasonable employment that paid enough to start a family, buy a house, and allow the wife to stay home and raise the kids.
Things are just so askew today with massive executive salaries coupled with lower tax rates on the wealthy. There is only so much the lower classes can continue to brunt before there is a revolt. And the lower class here does it have it better than most other countries, so I don't intend that as a woe is them statement.

Wrong
It's the rise of the welfare state, subsidizing workers.
1). Welfare puts downward pressure on wages
2). Undocumented immigrants put downward pressure on wages
Solve those two problems, the min wage naturally rises

To a point. However this isn't absolute.
Increasing the min wage does nothing to corporate profits, it's a de facto tax on the poor and middle class.
