Anyone here struggle with anxiety/depression/ptsd? I know, dare I ask the OT. Hanging on by a thread, looking for some input (clearly the best place for it). TIA

Off and on yeah. Things will get better if you just hang in there and focus on the things that make you happy.

I’m sure everyone here has at some point, some more than others.
Ask for help, find a new hobby, exercise / take a walk, focus on all the good things in your life no matter how small they may be.

Ask for help if you need it, don’t give up hope.

I have PTSD from too many close calls in vehicle wrecks.

I tense up all the time while driving... Expecting a terrible accident.

The second I realize it, I out loud say, "quit being a bitch".

Has worked for 9 years

Exercise, get outdoors as often as possible even if it’s just sitting in a park, practice mindfulness, eat healthier, talk to a therapist.

If none of that works, see a psychiatrist and explore some of the common meds.

Are you talking to anyone about it? Some people swear by therapy/psychologists but that has never worked for me. I see a psychiatrist and take medicine daily that has seemed to help.

Probably more people than you know.

No shame at all in going to a doctor to get some help.

If you lost everything you have in life, what would you be willing to do to get it back?

I've never been wrecked while on a phone.

I have been wrecked while opening an envelope

Nearly pulled off an amazing 360 on just the rear wheels at 45 mph or so... And then it all went fricked

I don't know anything about ptsd, but I think everything deals with stress/anxiety/depression on occasion. For me, recognizing that funk as depression is the first step in turning it around.

Certain things always get me back on my feet. Positive things. Exercise. Eating right. Curtailing alcohol. Honest discussion.

Find what those things are for you and use them deliberately.

Don't ever give up and don't ever think you're the only one. It's you and me and everyone else on this planet, I promise.
