re: Omnipotence and free will cannot exist together.

None of it makes any sense. Anyone that claims to “see” is full of shite. There are too many inconsistencies. If God knows what is going to happen, then what is the purpose of creating life? Seems pretty self serving to me. “I’m going to create you, I know what decisions you will make, but if those decisions defy my wishes, you will burn in a fiery Hell for all of eternity” Why in the hell create us at all?

Who are you O man to speak back to God?

I just realized God is in this thread trolling and arguing with himself.
TIL that God has a few psychiatric problems. Not good for us at all. See you guys in hell!

Not really...in simplest terms, something happened...
That alone is enough to come to a conclusion...by looking at evidence.
To determine how a tree fell in the woods, one would just look at whether it was sawed, hit by a large object, burned, charred, etc.

Adam and Eve had free will. We don't.

All I ever see in these threads are a bunch of people who debate thinking they know an answer.
When none of you knows shite.
When none of you knows shite.

Do you even Molinism bruh?
Posted on 11/22/18 at 4:53 pm to AUveritas
Takes too much mental gymnastics to be a molonist. All possible universes and God chose the one that maximized the number who chose him. That’s the most ludicrous thing I ever heard.

If you believe that you can choose to turn your back on God, then you do not believe what the Bible teaches about salvation. Jesus said that all the father draws will come to him and he will not lose any. But you keep thinking that you had some part in salvation (you will find some reason to boast) while Paul says there is no boasting for it is all a work of grace. The dividing line here is monogersim (God does all in Salvation) vs synergism (God does most, you cooperate thus do something). I’ll allow God to be in control.

What does this have to do with what is being discussed? God shows his love for even the unregenerate in that the same sun and rain shine and fall on them. He shows common grace to all, but to his elect, an eternal love through the death of his son. This does not negate anything I’ve said about his election and omnipotence in salvation.

Lol no. I would love to see your proof texts.
Notice in Ephesians 1 how it says He chose us and according to His will. It is completely against the teaching of scripture to claim that you chose him.
Also, scripture says that there is no one who seeks after God. All have gone astray.

Ephesians 1:3-6
Spiritual Blessings in Christ
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

Yes, but the process of becoming one who believes has already been discussed. All not elected by God fall in the rejection category. You still have not dealt with the scriptures that clearly state it is God’s work to save whom He will.
