So? Are there going to be a surplus of available vaccinated nurses once cold and flu season hit that aren’t available now?
Seems like they are banking on that.
Or less demand.

Vaccines are commonly required to work in hospitals and have been for a very, very long time. COVID has really broken people mentally.
Sure, vaccines with decades of studies. OLOL knows they are exempt from any lawsuits that could arise from complications so they give no fricks.

Like I said earlier, seems intelligent.

That doesn't necessarily mean they are selling as fast as they thought. I also thought, and might be wrong, that the vaccines had a relatively short shelf life.
The government is obligated to buy a specific number of vaccines in a specific time at a specific price. It doesn't matter to the vaccine manufacturers if they get used.
Not sure about J&J but both Pfizer and Moderna are being used in over 50 countries and they can sell every does they are making now.

They have more info than I do on what the market will look like. So maybe it is.

The data that says the Delta strain is on the downtrend? Yeah, most people have seen that data. Begs the question why the “darkest hour” horseshite was spewed on the news.
OLOL seems to be fully leaned in to a sky is falling narrative.

#1. This isn’t an ordinary proven and vetted vaccine. Let’s stop pretending it is.
#2. Why does nobody care about natural antibodies anymore? It’s starting to show they’re more effective than the vaccine.
I would bet there’s federal money incentives for this kind of mandate

I haven't seen that data.

not really, its a private company, can do as they please.
personally though i do not think private companies should be able to require a vaccine that is not full approved.
have no problem though with them requiring the vaccine once approved though. They are a private company and you are free not to work their.
i do have a huge problem though if the government starts with holding funding to companies that do not make their employees get the shot.

False.
You can typically sign a waiver.

This isn’t an issue for me
It’s more of the blanket immunity given to the pharmaceutical companies that I have an issue with

Why can't they just wear masks like they did all of last year?

If they have the adherence of every other company I have been in then you should realize why mandating masks is a useless method.

Louisiana has broken its record of COVID-19 hospitalizations today. Latest data: 2,112 patients hospitalized. Previous peak had been 2,069 COVID-19 patients in January. #lalege #lagov

The people will have to ultimately decide to break this.
If a large number of employees say no and staffing is affected so will the business. The business will suffer

Because there wasn't a vaccine last year. There is now, and as healthcare workers they are on the frontline of this pandemic and should be vaccinated.
