She's asking for 60% of all of his future earnings. Not just until the divorce is final, but until he dies.
That's ridiculous. I'm not an attorney, but it seems like she's getting bad legal advice.
Any OT lawyers care to chime in? Is that really possible for her to get his future earnings?

I like this dude. Love his story, etc.
And how does she expect to get more than half?

It’s amazing what makeup can do to a face like that, she would be almost unrecognizable and that shnoz would be less prominent.

He sounds way too close to Colter Wall

Virginia is an equitable distribution state, so if she financed his entire deal - paid for his resonator lessons, bought his iPhone that he recorded the songs with, paid for his housing, handled the publishing paperwork for his songs, etc., all of which done after their marriage, then she'd have a claim for a share of future his income. Also sounds like he was in and out of work and the hospital from 2013-23 and suffered some rather significant mental health problems during that time. If she was his majority means of support during that time, and a major factor in his later success, then she would have a claim to a larger percentage, but I don't see it being 60%.

Lol, she found the opportunity and took it. Good for her I guess? Fame does that.
Why you laugh? There should be a law against it... But marriage overrides everything.

Three sides to every story: his, hers, and the truth.
But yes, men tend to get screwed over in these.

Could never root for a guy who married an ugly woman.

Did you know Marvin Gaye lost his virginity to a prostitute when he was in the Air Force?

Cut the check and get her out of your life. No matter the amount of money, it's worth it.

To answer if he has kids with her.

I like it. He seems authentic to me.
