The crazier part of this statement is that 99% of the people that have read about his case have no clue those texts exist yet. But the OT does thanks to Cat

I don't think even a shitty defense attorney is going to use the argument of "my client was so upset that she was harming his unborn child... he murdered her and the unborn child"

I understand but some poster posted a copy of a Mississippi law which using that defense could reduce the charges. Ultimately lessening the severity

They allude to them in the Daily Mail Story.

You're forgetting the Eli Manning DWI.

which was written today. Cat posted those on here last week, so those following this thread for all 93 pages have known about and seen those texts for a week now. And alluding to them is one thing, he posted a screen shot of them. Just saying that it's kinda crazy to think how connected this board is, esp when unfortunate situations like this come up.

These seem to be conflicting

Oxford has completely forgotten about the cop executing that black mother a few weeks ago that he was having an affair with that's led to several people stepping down.... completely swept under the rug.

One of the local baws here said he knew people that knew both of them. He said that the rumors of the prisoner dating somebody else were untrue.

One friend said she didnt want to have an abortion for morality reasons
The other friend said she was drinking and doing drugs in hopes of "naturally" getting rid of the baby
Those are pretty conflicting statements

Those are pretty conflicting statements
Just means she wasn't going to go to an abortion clinic but was hoping the other stuff made her abort.
Again, no clue about the veracity of either of those claims. Just saying while at the surface they seem mutually exclusive, they necessarily aren't.

If I morally thought it was wrong to abort a baby, in what world would I think drinking and doing drugs to hopefully kill it is ok?
Posted on 7/30/19 at 4:22 pm to lsupride87
It doesn't make it ok. But I could see how one would justify it in their mind as being less evil.

It's more about being judged probably. If its a "natural" miscarriage she could claim she never knew she was pregnant and certainly wouldn't have been drinking if she knew because she would never purposely terminate a pregnancy

I simply stated the two statements are conflicting
But in reality more people would see you out drinking and such than would see you enter a clinic

Ah yes, blanket statements & generalizations: Traits reserved for only the wisest, most exemplary of men. (Most of which can be found spending every waking hour of their day on TD's tackling tough subjects like monotony, literacy, groupthink, etc.)
We imbeciles in MS would trample the weak & hurdle the dead if it meant participating in a world-famous Samso tutorial on "winning at life," "sophistication & intelligence," "prudence," etc., etc.
Just like TD's, you'd fit in quite well with a bunch of lunkheaded, moronic jackasses like us,
you lunkheaded moronic jackass.

It is a situation she could continue to claim or pretend to think abortion is morally wrong but a miscarriage is just bad luck and sympathetic. There are a large number of people who claim to think abortion is morally wrong but when faced with the situation themselves it becomes clear they think it is only morally wrong for other people.
BTW no judgment intended most everyone (including myself) uses or has used situational morality from time to time. Plus given her age, apparent hormonal status and the fact she was being pushed away by her "boyfriend" it is pretty easy to expect some mental gymnastics.
