GSR should show who fired the gun. He also doesn’t seem very smart at all, if he still had the gun used and clothes with her blood still on him.

I don’t think there’s any crime that would piss off a Mississippian more than a man murdering a woman pregnant with his own child. If anything, he picked the wrong state to do this in. If he did this in New York, he’d only be charged with homicide, but if she was pregnant, then he’ll be charged with double murder.

Didn't someone say she was taking summer classes to graduate before she had a baby?
Sounds like a responsible young woman who made poor choices in dudes.
It seems like there's a smear campaign trying to paint the victim as though she did something wrong. No upscale, probably religious young woman is going to try to cause a miscarriage through drinking and drugs.
If she wanted an abortion, she would have gotten one.
Do you realize how much drinking and drugging you'd have to do to not have a baby?

you ever seen the Jinx on HBO? Robert Durst, a rich NY guy, got off with murdering and decapitating someone in TEXAS.
If this kid's family can afford an elite defense attorney its not out of the realm of possibility that he can win.
I agree not likely but not impossible.

The only thing I’m certain of now is that he brutally murdered her. The Tweets alone are damning enough, nevertheless being caught in Memphis with bloody clothes and her belongings (is that even still confirmed)? Other than that I don’t fricking know. Just playing devil’s advocate for the rumors that are surfacing.

An abortion at 17 weeks is difficult without a medical cause. Not only with limited number of clinic willing to do the abortion, but the procedures Dilation & Curettage (D & C) or Dilation & Evacuation (D & E) may require in-patient treatment.

Good point. After watching the Jinx, I now believe anyone has a chance win with the right defense attorneys.

This article makes it seem like everybody in town knew she was pregnant, saying it was a small town and everybody talks. Her roommate, friends, sorority sisters, and everybody else that knew her has gone silent.
Somebody would be spilling the beans, assuring that Cat's wife would have been texted the inside scoop. Some cop's wife would tell her sister, with the threat not to tell, so she would just tell one, etc.
This is oddly silent for a southern small town.

I do think that the locals want to make sure they don’t frick up the case either. This is the most egregious crime to take place in Oxford since the James Meredith riots. Yes, it is shockingly silent, but I think the cops are under even tighter than usual orders to keep their traps shut, especially since Farese and Swayze are involved.

Everybody in town except for him...completely odd. Then we have the text messages, are those supposed to be from the day of the murder? ETA: well I mean the Friday before she was killed on Saturday morning.
So many missing pieces that the public does not know. I'm still very surprised more hasn't been leaked to the press just from his and her friends.
