General Lee was a good man and while I have absolutely no issue with KA honoring him and southern heritage this is completely different. These kids literally think its cool and funny to destroy a sign dedicated to a kid who was mutilated. A very immature and senseless move that they will certainly come to regret

These boys did a dumb thing and they will suffer the consequences. Nothing more, nothing less.
Are they racists? Well they certainly did something intended to be racially insensitive here by all appearances. Actions have consequences, these boys will learn the lesson well and hopefully make better choices in the future.

Damnit, it appears it is the guy my age from Episcopal's little brother.
I haven't spoken to him in a long time though. He is incredibly nice and the last person you'd call racist. Never met the kid in the photos that went to Ole Miss.
This was horribly stupid of him.

I did a million stupid things but I would have never gone out of my way to deface a memorial sign for a dead black teen. That goes beyond being stupid. It shows a dedicated intent to do something completely ignorant and disrespectful.
