I don't think you understand what a very real scenario is. Way more likely you get killed by lightning returning the cart then your very real scenario.

This is what I do. #1, it’s easier to return and #2 the people good enough to return their carts will have the common decency to not ding your car.

We understand you are a lazy sob that won't return the cart. It is pretty incredible the mental gymnastics you are using to justify it

Depends on my situation. If I'm by myself, I most always return. If my youngest kids (2&4) are with me, I don't return it, as I'm not turning my back on my young ones or leaving them unattended while I walk across the way to put a buggy away.
Auto start truck with fob.
Lock son in carseat with truck running.
Return buggy.
If anyone tries to steal the truck, it shuts off.
If anyone breaks a window, they are getting 18 hollowpoints.
It takes 15 seconds or more to undo all of those straps. That's a long time to stand still.

lazy sob
I almost always return the cart - I just think it’s a terrible indicator as to who is good and who is bad in society

what about if it’s 100 degrees outside and you live in Baton Rouge - do you go start the car to put the a/c on so your kids are comfortable and risk having your car stolen with the kids in it?? Or just leave the basket where you are?
Your kid will survive the hot car for the 30 seconds it takes to put the cart back.

So you leave it in the parking lot because you can’t bring your kids with you to the cart corral probably less than 50 feet or less from where you are standing?
That’s how I achieve this with my kids…

All of you people blaming this shite on your kids is hilarious. No it's because you are fat and lazy. And if I see you leave a cart I will yell at you. Just know this.

If you don’t want to bring your kid with you to return the cart, start your vehicle, put the kid in it, lock the door, return the cart, return to your vehicle. That way little Braxton can sit in the A/C and your doors are locked so the human traffickers won’t steal him and sell him into sex slavery.

I’ve never met a child that can’t handle being in the heat for 2 minutes while you load the car and return the cart.

I park next to the cart corral farthest out in front of the store. A few extra steps is all it takes. No hassles. Pull right up and park. No jockeying for spots. Returning the cart is easy.
Posted on 9/29/23 at 7:41 pm to UltimaParadox
There are bunch of damn liars in this thread. Most of you ppl claiming you put the cart back are full of shite. If most this were true there wouldn't be so many carts spread around the parking lots of grocery stores and walmart or wherever. As far as me I will admit sometimes I return it sometimes I do not. Its not like I give a shite what anyone thinks of me anyway. Judge away but at least I am honest.
