Just watched the 2025 mission impossible. Lady flattop commander, lady/minority POTUS, sickening. Other than TC, most characters who are in authority positions were not white males.

Just finished reading vivid accounts of naval engagements of American and British ships (including the Constitution) leading up to and during the War of 1812. I had to laugh at that silly TV “news report”.

Why are the cannons shooting artillery shells?
This makes me irrationally angry. Can we not use authentic cannons like the originals? I want black powder and cannon balls. And why isn’t she sailing under her own power?
I guess I just like authenticity and I feel it would be cool to actually teach the sailors how to actually sail the ship
