Cheaters to read was the morning after my 40th birthday. Progressives were when I hit 63...

I assume you mean reading glasses. I'm 50 and it's been a must for about five years. Everyone over 40 has presbyopia to some degree, whether they notice it or not.

Glasses in general was in 4th grade, so 8 or 9.

Readers at 40, progressive bifocals now at 63

far back as i can remember.

i started needing stronger glasses for reading last year at 42

Readers started in late 30’s early 40’s.

Readers at 50, still using them although my dr says I'll be needing prescription soon.

Between about 42 and 45 is when it starting affecting me. 55 now but still only need readers.

42 I started using readers and 44 I got progressive lenses. Had cataract surgery on my right eye last year and plan on having the left eye done with the next year.

I am still going strong w/o glasses... I thought for sure after years of working with computers I would need them by now...

AT 55 I started with readers and then went to progressives at about 62-3.

47 and still don't need them. Tiny text is getting harder to read. Low light can be challenging.

Everyone says once you get readers, it is downhill so I have refused so far. Annual appointment Thursday, so we will see what he says
