Old clip from 1995 when Conan just started out and Chris was a ball of energy. Damn I miss that guy and damn I miss the 90s. Conan’s hair was on point and Adam Sandler had me rolling at the end. They were a great team and that was when saturday night live was the shite.

I can't believe that was almost 24 years ago. Wow.

Farley’s interview of Paul McCartney on SNL for the win.

Ive wondered how his career would have gone if he wouldn't have died.

I just have a feeling it would have lost steam and his brand of humor would get annoying because people would put him into movies as the same character he always was.

Farley had no range as an actor. His roles in comedy movies were to be the drunk, crazy, loud guy that would do anything for a laugh. That's all he ever was.

He would have either become a worse version of Kevin James or gone the Chris Kattan route like everyone else from SNL.

Either way, he would have eventually flamed out after his tiresome shtick caused movie roles to vanish

Kind of like Will Ferrell? Worked well for him

why? Because he doesn’t find stupid humor funny?

No. Because it’s not stupid humor. If you can’t laugh at Chris Farley, then you’re a humorless prude. Good luck with that.

I agree that he SHOWED no range, but does that mean he had no range?

Bill Murray was mind numbingly stupid as Carl Spackler Caddyshack, but he grew as an actor over tbe years. However, in 1980 or so, you'd have to be the second coming of Nostradamus to foresee him as a successful dramatic actor.

Did John Belushi show acting range as Bluto Blutarski in Animal House? No, but he was successful in at least one semi-dramatic role (Continental Divide) before he OD'ed.

Chris Farley played the buffoon, but that doesn't mean he actually was one. If Adam Sandler can play serious characters, why couldn't Farley?

I forgot that there used to be late night talk shows that weren’t fixated on bashing Trump.

Chris Farley was hilarious to me as a young teenager and in a sentimental way still funny to me. Not sure if his character came out now I’d still find him as funny. My 2 favorites were always Chevy Chase and Leslie Neilson.

Got a feeling what caused his young death was also responsible for his success.
