I would say only 5% are hot. Way to many trolls serving guests in our friendly skies.

I don't care if they're ugly, gay or both, as long as they're nice and give me a little extra know-what-I-mean in my drink I'm good. Usually I find kindness and sociability on my part goes a long way with them.

My sister was a FA from about 2012-2015. When she was hired she was like the 2-3rd class hired since before 9/11. Now they do classes like every month. They had went on 10-12 year hiring freeze at American, but all the carriers were this way.

My sister quit because she got a pretty serious boyfriend and the pay was pretty bad. There was some months she would barely make $1000. Now other months she might triple that or more, but she enjoyed flying around the world for free for about 3 years and with no expectation of her pay making it a career for her anytime soon she had to quit. She also lived in Fl and commuted to DFW, so if she lived there it would of been different but again the BF.

So long story short, their pay is pretty bad for new FAs because they were on such a long hiring freeze that a huge majority of them have priority over the newer younger ones.

ETA: everytime I fly Lufthansa or a Euro carrier overseas there are 5-6 good looking Euros.

Eta2: when they start out they are 'on call' basically every other month. So she would work one month and make like $2000-3500 on a schedule and then she would be on call for people that were sick or whatever. I think there was 2 on calls, one where she had to be at DFW within like 60mins and then another within like 24hours. But she may only get 1-2 short trips on call and that's when the pay would be really bad. She was working a second job but that's not easy to do being on call with no schedule.

The Asian airlines still have polite, attractive flight attendants. United has obese grandmothers who hate your guts.

Delta is phasing out young and hot in favor of ghetto queen and flaming cocksucker. Much to my chagrin.

Flashback to Deltalina.

On all four of my flights to Guatemala and back the attendants were Hispanic or black gay men and the occasional old woman, all of which were very snarky and at times extremely rude to passengers.

They acted like their shite didn't stink. I wanted to remind them that they are fricking waiters and waitresses of the lowest order, a job that will soon be replaced by robots.
