No one would ever suspect us.

And, now that satellites are looking at every wide place in the jungle in that part of the world, you need a hangar big enough to hide it. And a tractor to tow it. And a compressor to start the engines. And someone with the tools and training to work on it, because the longer it sits there, the more maintenance it will need. And lots of gas for when you take off again. It would be a very complicated operation requiring a lot of people and resources.

If they haven't kicked in his door, shot his dog, and groped his wife then I am led to believe he was in on the plot.

I'd put money on it being at the bottom of the Indian Ocean by now.

This is the most likely end, but NOTHING on the surface? Not one piece or body floating?

Anything new in the last 5 hours?

It would seem odd to hijack a plane near some gigantic iconic buildings and instead decide to go into the ocean on autopilot
If the pilot wanted to commit suicide it is strange to turn the plane and then do nothing, unless he just always wants to go out via hypoxia. In which case he turned off all communications, depressurized the plane and kept the pilot/copilot from interfering with a swift punch to the face, point the plane in a new direction them remove his own face mask.
Any of those three options are freaking out there.

This is what I have always assumed and have been really shown/heard nothing to prove otherwise.
The most recent information released doesn't really support that.

Just to put in perspective, guy on CNN just said this would be like moving the search from the coast of new jersey to the coast of Oregon

I'm highly intrigued by all of this. I really want a conclusion. The US seems to be gaining the most ground on this investigation since others seem incompetent.

Communication satellites received intermittent data "pings" from a missing Malaysia Airlines jet, giving the plane's location, speed and altitude for at least five hours after it disappeared from civilian radar screens, people briefed on the investigation said Thursday.
The final satellite ping was sent from over water, at what one of these people called a "normal" cruising altitude. The people declined to say where specifically the transmission originated, adding that it was unclear why the...

Is this suppose to be a joke with the sentence at the end or something? How about a link?
