Go to the point where they lost contact (and at this point we don't know if that info is real), go out another 2500 miles and draw a 360 degree circle from that point....pretty big area.

Odds for hijacking/aliens are going way up I see.

Awesome...
So if it did fly for 5hrs, as Mercedes claims, and it was flying to a specific destination (Not just circling) then you've got India, China, Australia and random islands in the SE where it could be.
I think you could count out Australia as a landing spot for a hijacked aircraft.

We can definitely cross out Australia. There's a lot of nothing there, but it's a first-world country run by Anglos with British/American air defenses. They'd have noticed.

Exactly...

I'm not sure why everyone was so quick to write off the 2 Iranians with stolen passports as just immigrants. That reeks of shady shite

I explained in my post.

Yeah, if the plane kept flying for 5 hours and did crash...the chances of them actually finding it just decreased significantly. They might as well give up now.

I'm sure the entire northern coast of Australia is fortified and monitored considering it faces countries known as terrorist hotbeds. And like an earlier poster said it is basically an extension of America/Britain in the southern hemisphere.

Basically saying we have done all we can and were done. Back to business as usual.
Wrong
It was stressed over and over they were committed to finding the plane. No indications were given that suggested that the search would be called back or weakened.

They are going to hold a press conference tomorrow their time, (tonight US central time).

wonder what the price tag would be on utilizing all these recourses?... 100s of millions?

So what are the odds someone jacked the airliner, shut down the transponders, and landed this on an undisclosed airstrip in Pakistan for later terror use?

Wouldn't it be easier and far less conspicuous if one of these terrorist organizations were to just buy an old jet on the black market if their intent were to simply use it later on as a weapon?
