kids had it, now I have it

Select number of pharmacies are open today and the ones that are have no Tamiflu. Thankfully my son was able to get a prescription filled two days ago, but I'm SOL.

Consider yourself lucky. I know someone who had a psychotic reaction to tamiflu.

Go to the ER and have them rinse the sand out of your vagina.

Feel for you. All of my cousins in Bastrop, LA are sick. Lots of people with the flu here in Ruston too. We;re trying to keep to ourselves to avoid it.

Everyone got shots, but this flu wasn't expected.

They should stop with flu shots, weed out the sickly.

Tamiflu doesn't really help that much.

I went through this yesterday. My oldest has it and I had to locate Tamiflu.

I ended up paying for the premium version of it. Apparently, insurance companies don't pay for the premium version and Tamiflu is actually the generic form. That's what I was told by the pharmacist anyway. She said it was going to cost $300 to $700 for the script and I told her to come up with a better option.

She came back and said it was $55 and that my insurance actually covered much more than others do. I got two bottles of it for $55. I could see myself parting with one bottle for $300 or so.

CVS in Prarieville had some yesterday, not that it is super effective.

Best just to manage that fever, rest, and stay hydrated.

Just went through it with my daughter. Only had fever for 1 day, after starting Tamaflu. Not bad for $10. Canceled Christmas travels though, which saved me even more money, and a lot of headaches. This strain of the flu is short lived. At least it does not last a week, like last year.

It really does if it's taken within 48 hours of symptom onset. That's the rub, though, since symptoms and their onset can differ by individual. Some people suppress or ignore flu symptoms until they're debilitating while others start moaning and complaining at the first sign. Guess which type of person Tamiflu works best for.
