Our neighborhood has tons of mature trees. We have a number of limbs on the roads. Our power lines are underground though at least in the neighborhood.

Our power has been in for the last 42 minutes, that's a new record for today!

I feel ya.

Power been out since 8 over by Essen/Perkins area. We are usually the last ones to get power back because it's a small grid.

We are one of the first because police and fire are on our grid.

You would think we would be somewhat of a priority because there's a substation behind the neighborhood. But, it never works out that way.

Our neighborhood is pretty big (450'ish houses) with a school in it so we are probably pretty decent on the priority list.

We have a wood burning fireplace so I'm not too worried about it getting cold. Everyone just might have to sleep in the living room if we lose power.

We have been here for 8 years now and have lost power twice. Today and a short time during the 2016 flood. (Or an occasional few minutes down)

Eta: that is the reason we never installed a whole home generator and I will have one when we move

I’m in Denham. I lost power around 6:30 am. DEMCO said it would be restored by Wednesday at 1 pm. Already 59 degrees in the house.

League City here. No power since 2am. It actually did kick on for 20 minutes around 10 but nothing since. Just enough to piss us off a little more. Tnmp was saying it would just be rolling outages, not sure why there's nothing. I have friends in Seabrook that have no power and out in Baytown with nothing.

Just called tnmp again, they said expect power to be off until tomorrow.

Weird. I thought I'd lose it at some point but it's been going steady.

Even through last night

Did they give you an expected time to have power?
Is there anything you need?
