I never said that or even implied it. I think rioting and looting are fricking awful.

If the news media handled riots like sports broadcasts handle streakers the world would be a better place.

This is hilarious. The police have clearly stated a million times there is a curfew and they have to disperse.

The camera guy keeps freaking out every time someone is arrested asking why they are doing this?!

MFer they said if you don’t leave you will be arrested

Why are people so dumb?

Because they don't think they have to follow laws. Same reason they get killed at traffic stops.

The police officer who fired the shot that killed a 20-year-old man Sunday in Brooklyn Center is a 26-year veteran of the force, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) said Monday night.

The BCA said Kimberly A. Potter is on standard administrative leave. Potter, 48, was first licensed as a police officer in Minnesota in 1995 at age 22, according to state records.

The idiot cop who was too stupid to know the difference between her gun and a taser. That’s her responsibility and she failed.

Mistakes happen when you’re terrified. If she was always that jumpy they should have pulled her off the beat - but cops are in short supply these days in Minny which leads to below average cops being necessary

Someone help me make sure I'm up to speed:

1. Individual driving with expired tags pulled over.
2. Standard traffic stop results in a 2nd driving violation (item hanging from rear view mirror) & standard ID/warrant check is initiated.
3. Warrant check comes back to active warrant for individual with prior weapon charge, resisting arrest, & failure to appear to court (physically or Zoom).
4. Individual resists lawful arrest attempt from lead officer, who is a male AA, attempting to flee via vehicle that hasn't been searched or cleared by officers on scene.
5. Female officer with over 20 yrs on the job & 0 racial claims against her admits to accidental/incorrect weapon deployment & usage.

Is this all accurate?

Looks right to me. If she’s overcharged she’ll be way more likely to get off than Chauvin given her clean history and her instant regret / fact that she’s a woman and was obviously scared whereas Chauvin was a ballsy cocky prick who dgaf.

The institutional left should take a pass on going after her hard, but we all know that’s not their style.
