Officer Carter was escorting a state child social worker to an apartment where Toney lived. They were following up on a weekend incident in which a young child was taken from the home with burns and fractures. Toney was under investigation by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) for possible child abuse allegations.

My opinion of the incident:
Dude was a well known documented POS
Deserved to be arrested and jailed
Ran from the cop. Fought the cop.
Cop doing his job shot him.

POS Toney died because he resisted, fought an officer, and attempted to flee. Text book. Close case. Good job officer Carter.

Carter went above and beyond IMO. Soon as Toney fled most cops would've gunned him down. Not only did Carter try to catch him on foot, detain him with a taser, and even provided medical help until EMS arrived. What more do the SJW's want from an officer of the law? Should Carter of handed him a get out of jail free card and consoling the POS on the hard life he has had?

Anything other than this and it's a streeeeetch by Kibbles, Helmet, and Gravy. But hey, they love to rile up the natives in an attempt for views/clicks/boot in popularity.

He was abusing kids. INNOCENT LITTLE KIDS.... frick him. You shoot him wherever you can get the shot. If this thug gets away there is no telling what he could/would do to those kids in the time till hes picked up again.

So yes, he is putting people in danger by being out of Jail
