Office baws, do you decorate your office?

I'm just a single guy, so I don't have kids or anything, and I've had several people come into my office and mention that i need to decorate it and that its weird that I don't.
The idea of carrying in decorations to hang in my office seems weird as frick to me. I've thought about bringing in LSU stuff but then.....who gives a frick? What say the OT? Does my barren office make me seem like psycho? Does a decorated office make you seem like a try hard?

Depends on your field. If you're in a client facing position, a few LSU things or other items of interest might help break the ice.
If you're just meeting with other co-workers, I don't really think it matters.

I have a few small things throughout the office, nothing too big. I wouldn't judge someone that didn't have anything.

I’ve got a large American flag hanging up and some pictures of my fiancée and I. A couple bullshite certs hung up that my boss made me get.

I have a giant map of Louisiana, a rattlesnake skin, a pig skull, and an alligator skull.
Also two blocks of salt from a local salt mine.

My office is barren except for a couple of Bierstadt prints and people constantly give me shite about it

Have fun with it, and freak them out a little.
Start off with hanging a few portraits of brutal dictators or serial killers. Find a chunk of concrete for the shelf and say it is a piece of the Berlin Wall that you keep for nostalgic reasons. Find a Nazi helmet to hang up and say it belonged to your Grandfather Friedrich who was an SS guard at Dachau. Stuff like that.

I got the same BS when I was single. Someone brought a framed print for me to hang along with a hammer and a nail so I did. That was the only thing hanging in my office for 6 years.
Still only have that framed print hanging but have some pics of NillaWafer scattered about in some small frames.
