If you’re somewhere 40-50 hours a week you might as well make it look and feel nice.

I'm back and forth on this. If I'm in my office I'm staring at my computer screen 99% of the time.. so no need to hang pictures.

I have a couple of plants in my office. Plants clean the air and are supposed to make you feel better psychologically.

I'm just a single guy, so I don't have kids or anything, and I've had several people come into my office and mention that i need to decorate it and that its weird that I don't.

The idea of carrying in decorations to hang in my office seems weird as frick to me. I've thought about bringing in LSU stuff but then.....who gives a frick? What say the OT? Does my barren office make me seem like psycho? Does a decorated office make you seem like a try hard?

When I actually had to go into an office I never decorated it. I don't see the point. I don't want to go to work and feel like I'm at home. I'd rather do my job, then go home. Luckily, I don't have to deal with that shite anymore.

That’s fine if you work in a cubicle or aren’t allowed to visit with clients.

However, some people entertain clients, have meeting and invite vendors, potential investors, potential employees, and guest into their offices. A nicely decorated office makes an impression.

Sorry you were stuck in the basement and not allowed to interact with the outside world.

Who's that nerd and why's he got so much crap in his office?

What do you think he keeps in that treasure chest on the top middle shelf?

What did the top right and top left shelves do to get shunned? Couldn't he move some of the stuff from the packed lower shelves to those lonely, lonely top shelves?

What's that trophy on the right for?

Is that fescue?

WHY IS THE WATER SO GODDAMNED FAR AWAY?!

When I had an office, I was actually interacting with customers in either a training room or a hospital conference center. They definitely weren't coming into my office, as our offices were protected with keypads due to sensitive information stored on our work stations.

Decent guess though

Since my wife is against hanging dead animals in the house, my office is where she suggest I hang them.

My dad left Dow after 40 years and carried out his belongings in a ballcap. Men shouldn't "decorate".

Could be worse. I walked into a guy's office this last fall in the middle of a normal workday. On his desk there was an ice chest. The ice chest was open. In that ice chest there were two severed deer heads. One had a tick crawling around on it.

You can take the redneck out of the woods...
