Maybe your conception of religion and God is incorrect

What if I posted Jesus the christ tells us he dint die for your Sin. And his mandate wasn't to start the Religion of Christiany.

I have been pondering similar questions.

I have started to wonder if the real purpose of religious gatherings is to harness people’s mental energies and focus them into a specific direction. A purpose that almost no one recognizes.

It can and it has, but usually the church is most helpful in helping people connect to God. The more liturgical, the better.

Christianity is a relationship, not a religion.

Religion serves a purpose but not higher purpose. If One were to judge others and alienate a Group because they don't aligned with your beliefs thats not kosher in Source's (God) Heart. He tells us while he recognized all forms of Religion you are not required to become Religious.

There's only One God. The I Am. He isn't some old man depicted in the Bible dishing out punishment. Contrary to what religion teaches there is NO judgement at all.. In fact when you transition ( die) you don't report to God. God as I understood it is an immense Energy of all that is and are. It's what we call Love in the physical world but times infinity

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' "

God is HOLY. The significance of the word "holy" is lost on most people. The truth that God is holy will make the hair on your arms and the back of your neck stand up when you truly understand what that means.

Because God is holy, and man is corrupt, we cannot even begin to approach Him.

Jesus, the Christ, is not a barrier placed between man and God. He is the door through which we may enter into God's presence. Without Him the barrier of sin exists which separates permanently and completely from God.

So, no. Religion does not place a barrier between God and his people. Man placed the barrier between himself and God through sin.

You indicate that this insight comes from "higher beings." That may indeed be the case, but consider this scripture from the apostle Paul as recorded in Galatians 1:8 "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. "

It may well be that such insight is offered from a "higher being," but if that insight differs from the doctrine that Paul and the other apostles taught, then it is in error, and whoever teaches a doctrine differing from that will be cursed. And that specifically and strangely includes "an angel from heaven."

I would be very cautious regarding comments on God and religion unless I had studied the issue VERY THOROUGHLY to determine which is the correct course.
