At this point I don't see how anyone can rationally argue this is ANYTHING but punitive. While weak, you could fashion an argument that requiring the workers to be vaccinated is warranted. But punishing a employee because their SPOUSE is unvaccinated is flat out fricking absurd.
It the slow burn of continuous efforts to FORCE compliance. You MUST take this vaccine to protect ME from the virus even though I have the vaccine that apparently is so ineffective it requires others taking it to work.

Even in all the stupid illogical thought process of you die hard get the vaccine folks... How does charging 100 per pay period increase the safety? That's what the message says, that the fee is to ensure the continued safety/protection. If the only safe way is to get the vaccine, then how does charging a fee for unvaccinated spouses increase safety if they choose to pay the fee and not get vaccinated? As always, this is about the money and just another overreach for another piece of the pie.
