One and only time I did sell some furniture to a black dude and it was an awful experience.

I sold a cheap car on Facebook last year.

I just didn't respond to any young black men. It's not worth the risk.

Funny story.

I went on craigslist like 15 years ago to snag some super nintendo games. Had to meet the guy off of plank rd. Actually went super well, kid was very polite, and I ended up with all 3 megaman x games and earthbound.

Those games alone now are worth 200-500 each. Whole box of games was like 30 bucks.

Kid couldn't have been older than 16. I was in my 20s.

I was in Biloxi and headed to Ocean Springs to get a sandwich at a chain, after driving through, I turned around and ate at a casino. Place looked ghetto as hell.

Somewhere our lenient legal system is to blame.
Or more accurately, these kids parents.
This is why our society is what it is.
The problems start at home. A community cannot nor is willing to really raise kids. The community can only do something after the fact, not teach before.
Especially now, because the community is more interested in teaching kids white people and cops are bad, while blacks are simply oppressed.

In the country/rural parts of Mississippi, black folks often have 4-wheelers. You see this all the time outside Natchez, MS along US 61. He'd be losing money stereotyping like you suggested.

My understanding was that Craig bought used/brokedown 4-Wheelers and fixed them up to sell for profit.

He was a hard-working young man doing this as a side job to help support his family.

For all we know, Craig could have been carrying in a holster and turned his back for a brief second when he was ambushed by these pieces of shite. Meeting in the country at a truck stop is very common and very safe compared to most meetings people conduct in the cities.

I honestly don't want to live in a country with this much white supremacy.

I found out my GF was selling some old purses via FB marketplace. I put a stop to that quickly. She had some more that she wanted to sell so "We" sold them and in a much more public place.

Be safe if you use marketplace. Plenty of bad deals go down just like with Craig's list.

Why didn't you just ship the purses?

I have a friend who will only meet people from Craigslist; FB marketplace etc in dark secluded parking lots alone.

He figures he wants them on edge a little bit? I don’t get it either but he rationalizes if they are worried about getting robbed they are less likely to think about robbing someone.
