That’s going to have people scratching their head.
He’s suggesting that the distant sound of fire is Paddock shooting into the door/hallway. No mention of the number of rounds that sound to be fired at Campos matching up with what has been reported.

Totally reasonable explanation of the changes in pitch and volume of the shots. I wish this would satisfy all the tin foil Second Shooter folks but it won't.

That was interesting. I know it is "old news" now, but I would still love to know what was going on in his mind. What was it all about? We hear about all these events in which people just snap.. or something. Like the guy in East Feliciana Parish... Like this supposedly serial killer in Tampa Bay, like the jackass who shot Senator Scalise and tried to kill others.
I will never let something stop me from living my life, but it is actually something that is in the back of my mind now. You really never know when someone is going to do some crazy shite... And if it is someone like the Vegas shooter, they can cause a lot of damage.

I think we are too quick to dismiss someone as "snapping" or "going crazy." What if they were a methodical, level-headed person that had really bad intentions and carried out their plan? This is the greater fear that is put aside when we say "He just snapped."

We want to tell ourselves something that makes us feel safe. No one wants to realize that wackos like this are all around us, many just haven't acted out.
