So if one of them is bisexual then they can slay all the same-sex booty they want?

Those rules are what people lived by for hundreds of years until fairly recently.

Now it's weird.

*I don't think it's weird.

While I do not like the way you think in this specific instance, I do appreciate high quality critical and creative thinking skills.

Freedom is terrible. Trust is worse. If I ever get married again I’ll insist neither of us be allowed to leave the house.

That either (or both) felt the need for these rules screams some level of insecurity by one or both of them.

My wife and I have friends of the opposing sex but we're both responsible enough to know where the edge of that slippery slope is and value one another enough to always stay well away from that edge. This also applies to texting, being in a room alone with a member of the opposite sex, etc.

That's called "respect" and "trust".

Narcissistic abuse LOVES this idea . The amount of good conscientious committed Christians who have such arrangements pales in comparison to the amount of poor souls who have a narcissistic spouse who have created marriage prisons of control and abuse. That’s an absolute fact. In a society that churns out narcissists like crazy, this is an epidemic. There is a reason the narcissistic abuse channels on YOUTUBE are among the most popular channels.

My opinion is this is all attention BS. Instead of all this hullabaloo, why dont they just make one rule of "No Cheating".
My wife does not tell me who i am and am not allowed to talk to and I will not tell my wife who she can and cant talk to. Sheer lunacy.
You either have trust or you dont. These little rules and the proud posting of them is pathetic.

I can’t just be friends with a woman.

I end hitting in her or actually sleeping with her and it messes all that up

Why does it matter? It’s their marriage.

Would this have gotten any attention if the rules were for a couple’s bondage sessions?

This... This is the nature of a male and no matter how committed you are to your spouse if another attractive even just semi attractive female is around you at some point a man will want to screw her if given the opportunity especially if alcohol is involved. This is why as a married man if you are in a monogamous relationship and you want to keep it than you know not to put yourself in a bad position. This is why you should not keep female friends you are attracted to, because if that opportunity presents itself many of us would take it. To the point of the article some would say they are too strict and others agree with their rules, but each individual relationship is different and those are their boundaries.
