I live on the Nevada side. IMO best place in the lower 48. Knock on wood I’ll get less than a foot. I’m still recovering from last months dump

Just imagine what it would be if not for global warming.

There’s a theory out there that climate change has led to more intense storms.

Case in point.

The first year I lived on Lake Tahoe we got over 3 feet of snow in a 24 hour period. I thought that was a lot. I imagine 10 feet will shut down the pass

Winter on Donner Pass often brings out the rotary snowplows.

Impressive, pristine and massive snowfall in beautiful mountain country.

One of the coolest videos I've seen in a while.

Winter Storms in the high sierra take no prisoners. Especially when the Pineapple Express gets rolling.

This one is coming down from Alaska. It has been snowing over the Pacific.

The mountains around us are getting upwards of 8 feet of snow. Snow is expected at 2,500’ which is very low. There is another system coming in mid next week too.

Skiing in Tahoe right now. We are leaving a day early to escape the storm.
