One of the strangest things is her Apple Watch being in her purse.

I am on the side of her running away on purpose.

Why call the police and her family if she was planning on running away? That would just draw more attention to her disappearance and make it harder for her to run away.

It happens all the time. Everyone’s plan makes sense in their own mind.

Look at how many criminals have a plan and get caught because of the flaws in their plan.

It's possible she planned this for attention, knowing that recreating the mysterious details of the previous abduction would get her what she wanted. I'll bet she shows up in a day or two with "no memory" of what happened.

Not only call the police but give precise details on the location (mile marker, etc). The police were at her car within minutes from her pulling over. That greatly reduces her window of time to "disappear". Plus she piddled around on the side of the road next to her car for almost a minute after pulling over. She didn't make an immediate mad dash for the tree line. Seems like she would move quickly knowing the clock is ticking, if that were her plan.

Either that or somebody got her and that wasn't her in the video but someone dumping the car.

It's just strange.

SIL heard her approach the toddler and ask if they were ok, etc. Toddler never responded.

Was there a reason to believe this toddler ever existed?

This is not indicative of a struggle. It may also simply be a decision to leave some things behind. If she wanted to disappear and not be located, she would of course leave her phone behind. It also makes sense to know that recent appearance photos would be shared in a missing person case. Ditch the wig/weave.

She could have had a bag of clothes in the back seat and that’s why she went there. If there aaa a neighborhood close by, would be a perfect spot to leave the car if her purse, phone, and Watch were all in the car that’s very odd for a kidnapping.

People do weird shire. She was a 25 year old nursing student so not exactly had her life well put together.

Yeah. It'd take her 10-15 min to make the turn around. You would think other cars would be calling or corroborating the toddler sighting but no one has

Fantastic point. If she did see a kid and turned around to go back and the kid was still there for her to talk, there’s 0% chance someone else driving that road didn’t also see the kid or whatever it was. I maybe it has been reported to police, hard to say. But it would likely hit social media or the news.

If the authorities keep interviewing the family, consistently they think it’s a inside job..

Sometimes people think up these schemes in their heads and they don’t play out like they should.

I hope the long game is a botched disappearing act, and not a murder!

This seems too random. Could have been a 6 foot baw with a CCL that pulled over, or a cop.

Only so many cops to go around, chances of that would be slim. If the perp has a gun, not much the 6' baw could do. I naturally assume perp would be seeking a female not sure what happens if a guy pulls over, or maybe perp isn't picky. I don't know, I have never attempted to abduct anyone. Lol

Don't know anything about that but the news said she babysat for lots of neighbors. Sounds like she might have been really busy.

The news about not seeing any cars stopping to take her screams she had a mental break and just disappeared herself.

Where the frick would she have gone too though.

She doesn’t just vanish from the face of the earth, and clearly people on that area are looking for oddities.

I imagine neighbors in that area may have had backyard cameras from the houses neaw the highway,, interesting if they can garner any of that footage.

Maybe she was planning on committing suicide by stepping in front of a vehicle and created a cover story for that but then decided to abort and just left.

The weird thing is that she apparently managed to leave the area without being spotted.

I’m going with her planning this out, possibly with help. She’s 50ft max from being in a neighborhood. She could have easily walked over the small hill and met someone waiting to pick her up. She also could have walked the half mile to the exit. I highly doubt she went off into the dense woods on the side of the road because she would have had an extremely tough time getting through the brush in the dark… there’s nothing in the video to indicate she did anything other than walk off. Watch the video and focus on the emergency lane both in front and behind the vehicle. It’s constantly illuminated by the headlights of passing vehicles. No vehicle or person is seen entering or leaving.
