I’m assuming that because that’s how the story and her statements fall. She told police she was following a toddler on the interstate. Her SIL says she got out of the car and asked the toddler if he was ok. Now either the toddler is faster than we thought and she had to race to catch up when she appears on cam or she continued following the toddler up the interstate until she got on cam. Either way, her speed on the video can be determined with absolute certainty because of the distance between the markers and the time it took her to drive between them.

It’s not that hard of a concept to grasp. The 600 yards on a phone app the police mentioned today are irrelevant. It’s simple math.

Yes and no. I posted the math originally as a joke. Unfortunately some people can’t see the clear humor in the post and keep responding with “uh uh! The police said she only went 600 yards in 3 minutes” “the phone app says”.. and trying argue while I was trying to laugh. So frick it, if it’s gonna be an argument instead of a joke then so be it.

Her speed in the video is irrelevant with respect to this conversation. It’s not that hard of a concept to grasp.

My comments calculated her speed based on the cops saying she travelled 600 yards while she was on the phone with 911.

You are saying that speed can’t be right because she’s going faster in the video. The video is not when she was on the phone with 911. She called 911 before the video starts. Your focus on her speed in the video to dispute the rate of speed when she traveled 600 yards on the phone with 911 is misplaced.

I’m talking about the time period when she was on the phone with 911. You are talking about the time period in the video. These are two different times.

I think it was a theory being pushed around elsewhere yesterday that got shared here. Not sure if Nashville was first from another leak which has proven more accurate and then attached to abortion theory or if always together like she searched for both not knowing laws in surrounding states.

With today’s press conference mentioning Nashville searches and then saying there were other searches pointing to her possible state of mind but were considered private and not shared the Nashville/Abortion theory got discussed again here with main point traveling for an abortion since would have been separate searches.

Regardless of what state or if abortion even a part of this a 25 year adult wouldn’t have to pull a scam much less this scam kidnapping just to travel in secret for an abortion (or just to travel for other reasons). As an excuse it doesn’t work, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t part of her thinking beforehand or afterwards when kidnapping story imploded.

Did she stop following the child? Did the child speed up? How fast is this child at top speed?

Whatever way you slice it, she was following the child for 3 minutes on the phone with police and she was talking to the child after she got out of the car. The math in the video says she was moving at approximately 70 miles an hour and there was a child waiting for her to talk to when she stopped. You figure it out.
