If anyone was curious about the supply chain situation.

Part of this is China's zero covid policy.

Number of container ships within 25 miles of port. The blue is ships at port waiting to unload.

* Covid shutdowns in China dropping exports
* Shippers possibly finding alternate ports for shipments contracted after the PoLB slowdown went into effect.

At anchor and on approach

If they're dragging the anchor, that would explain a lot of the delivery delay.

Where are the products from Asia going that can handle the volume? It's simply not getting here and Europe can't do shite with their energy prices and its set to get worse.

Part of this also is that we are in a recession heading to a depression and people aren’t buying useless china junk

Nah, has far more to do with China's issues than the US not buying stuff.

Chances are that China is trying to dump that shite domestically.

They have talked about converting to digital yuan with an expiration date.

If the money is going to expire, they have to spend it on something. At which point, individuals now own the inventory and have to offload it rather than the state supported companies.

Real time marine vessel tracker

If you want to be occupied for a few hours:
MarineTraffic: Global Shipping Tracker

The amount of oil tankers in the Gulf of Mexico is simply amazing.

You have to consider Newsome's and California's COVID BS, also. A lot of the issue was, the ports didn't have the manpower to do the labor, due to California's crazy policies.

That is one of the worst graphic visualizations I can remember JPM producing. The yellow line starts out of thin air.

That's the thing. There aren't products coming from China. They're not going anywhere.

I guess they are done blaming everything on supply chain issues?

CNN Headline: Inflation doesn't exists, but if it does it is Russia's fault.
