Classic comment. This is why we are all fricked long term. Doesn't matter if shite works. Just need to try something so we can feel better.

September 30th is the 6 year anniversary of my best friend of 25 years death from a drunk driver. Screw this and screw the NTSB for wanting to make it a thing.

Mandatory jail time for first offense DUI would seem be more along the lines of “trying something” instead of massive overreactive changes across the entire transportation system. JMO

This is what happens when you make decisions based on your emotions.

MSRPs just keep going up with all this required shite.
These days, you only get an interlock if you get popped for DUI. Putting those in every car is a lot of equipment and monitoring costs for minimal gain.

I'm really sorry to hear about your friend
This is going to sound callous and it is, but that has nothing to do with anyone else.
I don't want to ask for permission to operate my car when I want to snag some random shite at the neighborhood gas station.

This entire effort is outdated and misguided.
Figure out how to stop drivers from playing on their phones while you're at it.

You're at home having dinner with your family, a glass of wine, and your wife starts to have a heart attack. You can't drive your car. Congrats your wife is dead because you're a sheep
I'm convinced plenty of you would be better living in China or north Korea

All crime will be impossible when they put each of the great unwashed in a pod with a VR headset, a tube down their throats and a chute under their assess.... and the elites will continue to do what they like without having to smell and look at us.

There's some state laws that they're going to have an issue with. I tried installing them on my entire fleet in Oklahoma once and was told we couldn't.

Pretty much from what I have heard.
DUI checkpoints hate seeing someone with an interlock because they know the guy’s already being monitored and they don’t get ticket money out of them.
