There is no federal law requiring you to wear a seatbelt

Might as well be—the NTSB pushed for these laws and states that didn’t implement them had highway funding held over their heads.

Next up, a Covid test to start your car. Oh, and and a Social Media monitoring test, if you post something mean your EV doesn’t start for 24 hours.

Nah

New Hampshire famously still does not require anyone 18 and over to have a seatbelt

No federal funding has been cut

You can just cut off the seatbelt and diactivate the sensor that beeps

No pussies need apply

There will also be cameras in the middle of the steering wheel to ensure that there is no longer road head being given.

The National Transportation Safety Board is recommending that all new vehicles in the U.S. be required to have blood alcohol monitoring systems that can stop an intoxicated person from driving.

Instead of going through all this why not just improve safety systems and require automatic braking systems to prevent rear end collisions, lane monitoring systems, and attentive driver systems that keep a person’s hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. That way you don’t have to give a blowjob to your car every 5 minutes to keep it running.

The government has a right to regulate driving itself or the highway itself, as driving is a privilege not a right. NOT my fricking truck.
