This. I don't get why twerking is something that some people feel the need to do everywhere.. And its something that's been around for awhile, but its "what the kids do" so its whatever..
But what's funny about twerking is that.. I don't know 10-15? years ago it started becoming a thing, but I remember in the 90s is was done to new Orleans bounce. There were songs like "twerk something nword". And know black people are like "that's our culture". Well technically it was part of new Orleans hip hop culture and it wasn't something people just went around doing.

There was definitely a lot of twerking going on at college parties and tigerland exchanges when I was in college 15 years ago. This stuff isn't new.
I believe the hilarious pearl-clutching reaction on this board is just more evidence of how much older the average poster is compared to 10 years ago. This board used to be a bunch of edgy 20 and 30 year-olds. Now, it's a bunch of stodgy 50 and 60 year-olds.

LSU is going through a carnival cruise line atmosphere with that performance. The only winners here are other universities recruiting against LSU.
Have someone with a brain hire and promote LSU’s viral band like The Bends or go old school and bring Better Than Ezra than back for type of event. This was a damaging image to a lot of people whether it’s based in reality or not which is why this type of crap needs to be better moderated.
Looked like the old Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo crowd meets then Claiborne Avenue underpass.
Standards are important and a reflection of a university’s ascendancy or decline.

This
Add in that bizarre Louisiana/LSU self-hating, catastrophe syndrome mentality and that’s what dominates this thread.

No it wasn’t. Tigerdroppings OT was creepy and weird with fake stories about making girls have orgasms. It was a bunch of virgins gaslighting each other about sex. The section where you rate your professor was spot on and incredibly popular.

Just a news flash for guys that used that advice, most women fake orgasms. They would much rather you finish quick instead of you trying to find that right spot you can never find. If she wants it, she knows where it is and has the tools to get her there.

Survey says: 10 years.

This was a lot more fascinating before yall figured out who it is and provided closeup pictures. Now it’s just gross.

Yup. We did some wild sh*t. The only difference is that not everybody had a camera back in the day.

Back in your day, did the powers that be allow and encourage the behavior? Were they creating and posting videos that leaned into the “party school” reputation?
Was LSU testing optional back in your day?

I'll bet that skank never saw the inside of a classroom past the 12th grade. No higher education for that hoe.

South Seas in the spring time was a glorious event. shite went on at frat houses that was insane. Made Animal House look like a kids movie.

Turning into the Carnival Cruise Lines of the SEC.

again, those were mostly off-campus or at private frat houses
This happened at a Louisiana public school financed event

That is fricking disgusting and the exact reason I don't want my kids going to LSU. I went to LSU. It wasn't ghetto and trashy like this.
What the hell happened??

I've had two close friends (we all went to LSU in the late 90's) who sent their kids out of state to Bama. Said when they toured LSU its become such a shite hole.

I think the biggest difference, other than the lack of cameras, is that all of this stuff took place behind closed doors. Yes, lots of frat parties were on the wild side, but a lot of it was just teenagers being dumb. We even had a bouncer at our favorite bar just randomly strip down and dance around nekkid all night. Often. (IYKYK). We thought it was hilarious. That kind of partying wasn't ever a school-sanctioned event, though.
This was mid to late 90's, so college kids being crazy isn't anything new, but we still expected our school to be somewhat dignified. I do realize the DJ brought in the, um, extra talent, but it's still a very bad look, even if it's not what LSU intended.
