She doesn’t have a meltdown. She was actually very cordial.

didn't really hear much of a meltdown

Bell Curve is definitely going to get burned in the latest progressive book burning/banning initiative. Buy your copy before they do.

Communists figured out long ago that statistics don't support their beliefs. So they Created sociology divisions to explain them
Progs are not rational people. They don't believe in science or fact.

OP's is a complete misstatement. The NPR host was very reasonable, as was the interviewee. The host clearly wanted to debunk his POV, but she was very civil.

You’re talking biological vs. sociological. Of course you won’t.

That site fricking sucks. I have a bad habit of just clicking on links, but that site doesn't seem safe.

Cool it, we want to have our own meltdown about their meltdown!

I don't really think she got triggered. It actually sounded like a decent back and forth conversation. It's really good for science that the guest stood his ground and didn't sway to PC beliefs.

Don’t be ridiculous. Claiming things like this takes weight away from facts and any argument you have to make. I can’t stand NPR but that was anything but a meltdown.

What are you attempting to accomplish?
Confirm your belief of your genetically superior intelligence?
Seems at a minimum ignorant and more likely legitimately racist.

Since when is genetic basis for race? In those 4 DNA nucleotides that make up genes, no consensus on such a thing as a race gene.
Sure, there are commonly expressed pigments such as melanin, carotene, and hemoglobin.
But "race" is man made social concept, not genetic.
The fact that a group of people who have been socially characterized, measured, and determined to be less intelligent may very well be true.
If one wants to explore causes and correlations for this, skip the race BS and go straight to the social (home structure, values, norms, economic structure, belongingness, in/exclusion in networks of people, etc.
Skip the CRT political gullibility. Go for the CT (Critical Thinking). It will free your soul.

She seemed surprised, which most people would be.
It's also part of her job to sound somewhat surprised and to ask how they came to their conclusions.
If you think this is triggered, you clearly do not listen to public radio.
Interesting conversation though.

Where's the meltdown? She literally let him say everything he wanted to, never cut him off, and never really inserted her own point of view...
