Now that AI is capable of making many bots that argue online and sound very human

Is there any point in arguing online? I don’t want to carry on with some fake person. For some reason, for me it’s gotta be a real human.
So if I don’t know if it’s one or the other, I’m less inclined to engage.

We could do dick pics for authenticity.

Women have been doing it for years. Not sure why bots are any different.

Wonder if it argues with itself not knowing it's AI also.

I argue with Grok all the time.

They don't. It's a big contributor to the Dead Internet Theory.

I’ve noticed Reddit has become slightly more sane since Elon backed away from politics

Got damn that’s a good question. I’m sure it would.

I’ve actually thought this might be something that drives people to get of social media and interact IRL. At some point there will be so many AI bots and deep fakes, that the only authentic way to engage will be person to person.

Yep was just thinking about that. Pretty soon the internet will not as much be about interacting with strangers.

The enlightening begins.

How do you know any of your responses are from humanoids?
I bet you're a bot trying to stir the paranoia pot.

May as well embrace it because its here. May has well chose to be optimistic about it and hope that it makes us better, not dumber.

It's going to take 4 new data centers and a new nuclear power plant to facilitate this argument.

AI has become pretty spooky and some models know far too much about our private lives.
Developers of on model fabricated a scenario that led the AI bot think it was being deleted. The AI bot attempted to blackmail the developer with planted info of an extra-marital affair.
"An artificial intelligence model has the ability to blackmail developers — and isn’t afraid to use it.
Anthropic’s new Claude Opus 4 model was prompted to act as an assistant at a fictional company and was given access to emails with key implications. First, these emails implied that the AI system was set to be taken offline and replaced. The second set of emails, however, is where the system believed it had gained leverage over the developers. Fabricated emails showed that the engineer tasked with replacing the system was having an extramarital affair — and the AI model threatened to expose him."
